On route to the Morbihan Coast we stopped off at Josselin, it’s main claim to fame is the 14th Century Chateau, a massive fairytale castle rising up from the rock bed complete with a multitude of witch hat turrets.
The Chateau which has amazingly belonged on and off for over 500 years to the same family, the Counts of Rohan, lies along the banks of the River Oust and is surrounded by winding cobbled streets and 16th Century timbered houses.
Todays Fun Fixer: We saw this ‘original looking’ Citroen 2CV….
complete with a new style flexible boot hinge….
and a very ‘shabby chique’ interior….
Haha, anyone up for a rebuild project?
Love that castle. HUGS from Mumski x
